Gemini Watermark vs SynthID: What Can (and Can't) Be Removed
If you search for a Gemini watermark remover, you'll quickly run into two terms: the Gemini watermark and SynthID. They are not the same thing. Knowing the difference saves you from tools that over-promise.
The visible Gemini watermark
This is the small, semi-transparent logo in the bottom-right corner of images and videos made with Gemini. You can see it with your own eyes. It's blended into the picture with a known transparency, which means it can be reversed precisely rather than painted over.

SynthID, the invisible watermark
SynthID is a watermark developed by Google DeepMind that is embedded throughout the image or video in a way people can't see. It's designed to survive common edits such as cropping, resizing, filters and compression, so that AI-generated content can still be identified later.
Removing the visible corner logo does not remove SynthID. After cleaning, the file is still identifiable as AI-generated by tools that check for SynthID.

Be careful with tools that promise to make AI images "undetectable"
A tool that removes the visible logo is doing something simple and honest: cleaning a corner of your picture. Claims about making images "undetectable" as AI-generated are a different thing entirely, and Markless doesn't make them.
Using cleaned images responsibly
Removing the corner logo is useful for layouts, thumbnails, mockups and presentations where the mark gets in the way. Keep following the terms of the service you generated the image with, and label AI-generated content wherever that's expected or required.
