Questions, answered
Is it private?
Yes. Markless cleans your images and videos on your own PC. They're never uploaded, and Markless has no accounts, ads or tracking.
How do I get the app after I pay?
Right after checkout, you'll see a download link on the order page, and we'll email it to you too. Download Markless-Setup.exe and double-click it to install.
Does it need the internet?
Not to clean files. It works completely offline. Markless only goes online to check for a newer version, and you can turn that off in Settings.
Why does Windows show a warning when I install it?
Windows shows "Windows protected your PC" for apps it doesn't recognise yet. To continue, click More info, then Run anyway. Markless installs into your own user folder and doesn't ask for administrator rights.
Does it remove invisible watermarks like SynthID?
No. Markless removes the visible watermark in the corner of the image or video. It does not remove invisible watermarks such as Google's SynthID, and it doesn't make images "undetectable" as AI-generated. Any invisible watermark stays in the file.
Does it always work?
Markless always gives you a result. If a faint trace might remain, it tells you, so you can take a quick look before sharing. If it doesn't find a watermark, it leaves your image unchanged.
Is there a Mac version?
Not yet. Markless runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit).
How do I uninstall it?
Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps in Windows, find Markless, and choose Uninstall.
